Roskhill Barn stands on a single track 'loop road' about 100 metres from the A863, three miles from Dunvegan.
Dunvegan is in the north west of the Isle of Skye, about 40 miles from the Skye Bridge and 20 miles from Portree.
Getting to Roskhill
Allow 5 hours driving time from Glasgow or Edinburgh to the Skye Bridge, but allow another hour for frequent stops to take photographs of the stunning views.
Inverness - the 'Capital of the Highlands' is approximately 2 hours drive from the Skye Bridge. The town has links by air, rail or coach to all of the UK, and is a good centre for starting or ending a holiday on the Isle of Skye.
Car hire is available on Skye but is cheaper from Inverness.
